The bumper is a central safety feature of the Nexaro robot vacuum cleaner. It protects the device during minor collisions with furniture or walls and also serves as a sensitive contact sensor. When bumped, the sensor detects the obstacle and sends the information to the navigation system – for precise course correction and reliable obstacle avoidance.
