In Enschede City Hall, nine autonomous vacuum robots from Nexaro are revolutionizing floor cleaning. They clean a total office area of 6,000 m² across three open floors. The fleet is controlled and monitored centrally via the Nexaro HUB by a single person. As the robots work completely autonomously after hours, over 600 hybrid municipal employees benefit from an undisturbed workflow and perfectly clean offices the next morning.
The Nexaro vacuum robots were implemented in the city administration's main office and are efficiently managed by the building services provider In het Veld Group. Thanks to state-of-the-art sensor technology, the robots work smoothly on different levels without disrupting daily operations. Since their introduction, the cobots have delivered measurable success for municipal building management:

In accordance with safety standard IEC 63327, they are approved for use in areas with public traffic. They navigate safely around people and obstacles, noticeably reduce the workload for cleaning staff, and ensure consistent hygiene in the public sector.
