Modern office environments experience constant foot traffic, which carries dust, fibers, allergens, and dirt into carpets and flooring every day. Although these contaminants are often invisible, they accumulate over time and compromise the workplace’s appearance, cleanliness, and employees’ well-being. The leading pharmaceutical company was looking for a smarter and more efficient approach to facility cleaning that would ensure consistently high cleaning quality, promote a healthier work environment, and provide greater transparency regarding cleaning performance. At the same time, the cleaning teams needed a solution that would allow them to spend less time on repetitive vacuuming tasks and instead focus on high-value cleaning tasks that directly enhance the workplace experience.

To meet these requirements, five Nexaro NR 1700 autonomous vacuuming robots were deployed in two office buildings to perform scheduled cleaning Monday through Friday. The robots operate autonomously during the scheduled cleaning times and ensure that key office areas are vacuumed consistently every day. This allows cleaning teams to focus on detailed cleaning, the disinfection of high-touch surfaces, and other specialized tasks. Using the Nexaro HUB software, facility and cleaning teams can monitor cleaning activities, view performance reports, and manage robot deployments across multiple locations via a single cloud-based platform. This approach offers a scalable, transparent, and measurable solution for workplace cleaning while maintaining the flexibility required for modern office environments.
