Our recommendation:
Use the bumper extension to prevent the robot vacuum cleaner from hitting very flat obstacles.
Purpose:
The bumper extension detects objects that are higher than 1 cm above the ground and ensures that the robot reliably drives around them. A typical example is the flat base of a floor lamp - it can be detected and safely avoided with the bumper extension.
Note:
This extension is particularly beneficial when using the Drop & Go function. This mode allows your robot vacuum cleaner to navigate spaces that have not been mapped beforehand and therefore cannot take no-go zones into account. Please note that the robot may no longer be able to drive onto carpets or cross door thresholds if they are higher than 1 cm.
