This independent audit attests to the security and trustworthiness of the robot – from the device architecture to system-relevant interfaces and secure device communication. As part of a multi-stage testing procedure, the security and architecture was analyzed, configurations were checked and practical security analyses were carried out during operation.
For commercial users, this is a key factor: With the increase in cleaning system networking, the need to protect sensitive data and technical integrity is rising. Especially in complex environments such as office buildings, hotels or public facilities.
"IT security is a fundamental requirement when using autonomous systems in a professional environment." “This certification reaffirms our commitment to providing our customers with a secure and reliable system solution,” says Dr. Kai Landsecker, Head of Technology at Nexaro.
The “TÜV Trusted IoT Device” award is given on the basis of established security standards and acts as proof that the Nexaro NR 1700 meets defined requirements for tested hardware and software architecture, data security and technical data protection. The certificate is valid for three years. Surveillance audits in the second and third years ensure the maintenance of these high standards.
As part of its holistic cobotic approach, Nexaro combines autonomous robots with the Nexaro HUB, a digital platform for controlling, documenting and optimizing cleaning processes. The aim is to meet the increasing demands of the industry, such as skilled labor shortages and cost pressures, with efficient, scalable and secure solutions.
With this certification, Nexaro underlines its mission to set new standards in professional building cleaning, not only technologically, but also in terms of IT and data security.
